The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP)  is a Federal Government of Nigeria initiative co-funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

As a talent incubator, the programme seeks to improve the employability of fresh graduates by connecting them to practical on-the-job skills through a 12-month paid-placement opportunity in private and public sector institutions across the country. As such, the NJFP is designed as a scalable model for facilitating a transformative and impactful transition of fresh graduates from learning to earning.

At Steamledge Limited, we’re proud to serve as the Talent Management Company (TMC) for the UNDP Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) in the North-East region. Our mission? To bridge the gap between young talent and meaningful work opportunities, while supporting host organizations to unlock fresh potential.

What We Do as TMC

As the TMC for the region, we coordinate and oversee the end-to-end experience of NJFP Fellows and Host Organizations in six states: Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba, and Yobe.

Our role includes:

• Onboarding and Support for fellows and host organizations

• Monitoring and check-ins to track progress and resolve challenges

• Townhall sessions and engagement events to foster community

• Alumni empowerment and continuous learning opportunities

Our Impact So Far

Since taking on this role, we’ve gone beyond coordination — we’ve added heart, strategy, and structure to ensure every fellow and host organization in the North-East thrives. Here’s a snapshot of what we’ve done:

✅ Hundreds of fellows onboarded and successfully placed across all six states
✅ Regular check-ins and townhalls in locations like Maiduguri and Yola, bringing fellows, alumni, and host organizations together to share ideas, challenges, and progress
✅ Designed and delivered alumni capacity-building sessions on LinkedIn optimization, CV reviews, business pitching, and more
✅ Proactive host organization verification and support to ensure accountability and alignment
✅ Introduced a region-wide online bootcamp to boost digital skills and course engagement
✅ Built trusted relationships with fellows, alumni, and host partners—all rooted in communication, empathy, and excellence

• Deeper alumni/fellows engagement, including professional upskilling and entrepreneurship support

• More visibility for host organizations doing great work with fellows

• Improved tracking of fellow development and contributions
